Katrina Wurm studied psychology and counselling and holds degrees in business, human resources management and industrial relations where she’s currently a coach who supports women with children who are neurodiverse.

Neurodiversity is any variation in the human brain, not a disability, not a deficiency, just a difference in the brain’s wiring. Katrina, behind her professional exterior, hides the pain of losing seven children. For more than 12 years she tried to get pregnant and succeeded with the birth of her now 12-year old son. Born with several physical health issues, that also developed as he grew, in addition with a neurodiversity diagnosis, this has made his journey through life more challenging than some.

“I have been advocating for him from his birth. The journey through the school system, with a neurodiverse child, [this] forged a desire to assist other mothers who advocate and manage to raise a child, so they don’t lose themselves in the process,” Katrina said.
